Principal’s Corner

 It is with great pride that I welcome you to Fletcher W. Judson Elementary School where the students and staff are wonderfully amazing! Our students and staff believe and live our school philosophy that we are all Ready, Responsible, and Respectful.  Ready to learn with great lesson plans and homework completed, Responsible for one’s behavior and following school rules and Respectful of others’ feelings and differences by being inclusive and listening to others’ ideas.

Judson has been renovated and I feel that we are Jazzed UP! There is new technology available in each classroom including computerized projection systems.  In addition, the computer lab is outfitted with flat screen computers and the modern library is open and spacious with lots of places to curl up with a good book. Students and teachers are energized with the Smartboards and the varied approaches they add to the teachers’ repertoire of teaching strategies.

We are more than a school; we are a community comprised of our students, staff, parents, relatives, and volunteers. Like great jazz music we each have a unique sound to make and when woven together we make a great ensemble! Join in our music, add your special talent or expertise, volunteer in a classroom, come in and read a story, demonstrate a craft…we welcome everyone to join in the development of our students.  Our goal is for our students to use the academic skills taught by their teachers to become lifelong learners!
