Hello and welcome to my webpage.  I am looking forward to an exciting and rewarding 2011-2012 school year.  I hope you find the information on this website helpful and useful.  I have been teaching at Judson School for the past ten years.  Ever since I can remember I have wanted to be a teacher and help enrich the lives of young children.  I have two children of my own, a son and a daughter.  In my free time, I love spending time with my family and friends, reading, skiing, and scrapbooking.  Throughout the year I will be updating this website.  Please use it as an additional resource for information about our classroom.  A good relationship between home and school helps to ensure the success of children.  Please feel free to contact me at school through email or phone if you ever have a question, comment, or concern.

     Here's What We're Learning About

In math we will start the year learning about data and graphing.  We will be creating graphs based on the data we have collected from our classmates.    

In science we will be learing about biomes.  The students will be learning about the tundra, rainforest, deciduous forest, and desert.  We will be doing numerous activites, projects, and research to support our study. 

In social studies we will be learning about map skills.  The students will be learning about how to use maps, use longitude and latitude lines, find distances using a scale and creating our own maps.
