Graduation Dates:

Swift Middle School graduation has been scheduled for Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at 6:00 p.m.

Watertown High School graduation has been scheduled for Tuesday, June 25, 2013.

Swift Middle School students will have the opportunity to attend "Field Day" at Quassy Amusement Park on Wednesday, May 29, 2013.

Our Swift Middle School 8th graders recently returned from a very exciting trip to Washington, DC.  While touring Arlington National Cemetery, they had the honor of participating in a wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

The Watertown Board of Education approved the following 2012-2013 calendar changes at their March 25, 2013 Board of Education meeting, due to excessive snow days:
School will be in session on April 5, 2013.
The last day of school is scheduled for June 26, 2013 (single session day).
The In-Service Day for staff, originally scheduled for April 5, 2013, is now scheduled for June 27, 2013.

On Monday, February 25, 2013, the Watertown Student Lunch Program will begin a Breakfast Pilot Program at Swift Middle School and Watertown High School.  Breakfast will be available daily for a cost of $2.00 for paid students, $ .30 for students who qualify for reduced meals and free for students who qualify for free meals.

In order to be eligible to try out for any sport at Swift, students need to have the following forms on file at the school:  Student Participation and Parental Approval Form and a Connecticut Pre-Participation Evaluation Form.   The Student Participation and Parental Approval Form needs to be completed by both parent/guardian and student; the front page of the Connecticut Pre-Participation Evaluation Form is completed by the parent/guardian; the back page is completed by the physician.  These two forms need to be on file in the school office prior to tryouts.  The Pay to Participate fee will be collected if your student makes the team.

For your convenience, a Fees Report is now available on your child's portal which will inform you of any outstanding balances in your child's account regarding lost/damaged school property.

Student grades are always accessible through our Student/Parent Portal.  Choose "Student/Parent Portal" from the navigation bar to access Portal instructions and "Infinite Campus" login page.  The Portal is your connection to your child's daily progress at Swift Middle School.
