Arrival and Dismissal

Students are expected to arrive at school no earlier that 7:45 AM and are to leave the building by 2:33 PM unless staying with a teacher or attending a school function.

Students are expected to be in homeroom when the homeroom bell rings at 8:02 or they will be tardy. Any student who is tardy more than three times in a marking period will earn a detention for each tardy after the third tardy and for each time they are tardy for the remainder of the marking period. 

Students who are absent from school are asked to have a parent/guardian call the school by 9:00 AM to verify the absence and to bring a note upon return.  If students do not return with a written note, the absence will be considered unexcused. 

Students are not allowed to leave school grounds once they have arrived at school.

• Students who become ill during the school day must report to the school nurse and must obtain permission to leave school from the school nurse or an administrator.  Permission to leave must be verified by a parent/guardian.

Students who are absent, receive an early dismissal or are suspended out-of-school must not return to school property that day.

(When/if a late bus becomes available) Students who leave the school grounds at the end of the school day may not return to catch the late bus.  Only students who have a late bus pass from a teacher may ride the late bus.
