Good Advice for All Students:

1. Arrive to class on time, with the proper materials, homework, and books. Every adult employee needs his/her tools in order to accomplish the task.

2. Remember that you are one of many students. Each of you deserves an environment without distractions from others. This means that you must work cooperatively, quietly, and wait your turn for assistance. Everyone has questions that need to be answered and ideas (related to the current topic) to be shared with others.

3. Participate in every type of learning activity to the best of your ability. Even if you would rather be doing something else you need to pay close attention and to focus on the lesson topic. If you take an active interest, the lesson will be more enjoyable and much more beneficial.

4. Always remember that you do not know which skills you will need throughout your lifetime. So, learn as much as you can. No lesson is a waste of time.

5. Your work is not finished at the end of the class period. It is your duty to complete all homework assignments and study the most recent class work. Only when all this is done can you say that you are finished.

6. Finally, remember you are the recipient of your own education. As such, you will be the beneficiary. A little extra effort now will lead to lifelong rewards.
