CONGRATULATIONS TO THE BOYS' & GIRLS' CROSS-COUNTRY TEAMS!!

On Thursday, October 20th, the boys' cross country team successfully defended their NVL Championship (& Brass Division Championship) from 2010 with a narrow 41-43 victory over 2nd-place Naugatuck.  The girls' cross country team came in second place to Wolcott for the second year in a row.

Girls' Soccer repeats as NVL Champs!!

On Tuesday, 11/8, the girls' soccer team defeated Naugatuck 3-1 in the NVL Championship match at Municipal Stadium in Waterbury.  Jessica Spezzano led the Indians offense, scoring all three goals in the second half to seal the victory for the Indians.  This is the second NVL title in as many years for the girls' team under head coach Lisa Mariano. 

 

Congratulations Girls' Swim Team NVL Champions. 

Watertown High won its first Naugatuck Valley League Girls' Swimming Championship since 1994.The event was held at John Reardon Pool at Kennedy High School on Saturday, November 5th, 2011.Katie Crochet won two events, 50 and 100-yard freestyles and anchored two winning relays, including the record-breaking 200 free.  She earned the James Farrar Award as the meet's most outstanding swimmer!Coach Garry Smith summed it up, "We swam out of our minds all night long."Watertown finished with 833 points to Torrington's 777.

Gridiron Club

WHS Gridiron Booster Club (new informational website being developed).
