     The aim of the WHS World Language Honor Society is to stimulate interest in the study of either French or Spanish, to promote high standards of scholarship, to reward scholastic achievements, to create enthusiasm for and an understanding of culture and civilization, to promote and perpetuate international friendship, and to reward efforts toward furthering solidarity in the world.

 IMPORTANT UPCOMING EVENTS:

      - International dinner- May 29th at 5pm in the courtyard.  Be sure to sign up to bring food.  The sign-up sheet is in Mrs. Moher's room (room 3).

      - Induction:

             - Practice #1- June 10th during flex in the auditorium.  Students should go directly there.

             - Practice #2- June 11th after school in the auditorium.

             - Ceremony- June 12th at 7pm (Students need to be there by 6:15pm.  We will be meeting in the hallway near guidance.  Please dress appropriately for the occassion.)

     **Reminders:  Current WLHS members must maintain an 80 average in their language, should not miss more than 2 monthly meetings (unexcused) throughout the year, and should participate in at least 2 WLHS sponsored activities.
