Dear Watertown Public Schools Faculty, Families and Students,
This year’s curricular focus on the Science of Reading in all of our Elementary schools has brought a renewed sense of energy to our literacy blocks. Heavily steeped in the five most important components of reading instruction: Phonics/ Phonemic Awareness, Vocabulary/Grammar, Comprehension, and Fluency, our youngest students K-5 and teachers have been taking great strides in building a solid foundation in reading and writing. The Watertown Public Schools are committed to taking steps towards elevating our curricular experiences everyday!
