So proud of all of our Invention Convention participants! These amazing kids came up with some wonderful solutions to problems they’ve encountered! It was a tough call for judges, but kudos to Lucas and Mia on advancing to the semi-finals! #Polk #InventionConvention
Polk students tried 3 types of radishes (Daikon, Watermelon & Breuer) and voted on their favorite. Watermelon radishes won! All radishes were grown locally in Bantam. Thanks to Mrs. Doering, Food Service Director, for bringing this Farm to School event to us! #Polk #Farm2School

Our World Read Aloud event was enjoyed by guest readers and students. Kids loved seeing familiar community members and making connections with new ones. They enjoyed listening to stories old and new. It was a great reminder that we’re never too old to be read to! #Polk

3rd graders got in the winter spirit this week in PE as they practiced important physical fitness skills while trying out some activities adapted from Winter Olympic sports! Students tried their hand at our version of curling and skiing, along with jumping rope and relays.
