Dear Watertown Public Schools Families and Faculty,

Although a shortened week, it was a busy one with National Junior Honor Society, Athletic games, Fundraisers and PTO events! It is always wonderful to watch our students and faculty in action...and to have a gorgeous day of sunshine on top of it all is a real gift.

Watertown High School Mascot Selection for 2022-2023

On January 25, 2021, the Watertown Public Schools officially retired the high school mascot to select and design a new mascot for the 2022-2023 academic school year. Last year, the process of gathering submissions for new mascot ideas started. Many, many, submissions came in from students, faculty, and the community. In late Spring, two rounds of voting took place to whittle those ideas down to the top 18 choices. Students and faculty from 8th Grade -12th grade all had a chance to cast their votes.

It is with great excitement to take one step closer to selecting a new mascot for Watertown High School. Yesterday, students and faculty of WHS completed their third round of mascot voting and we are now down to the top 5. From November to February 2022 we will welcome students to submit their graphic designs of our new mascot.

There will be another final round of voting on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 where students and faculty will choose the final winner. Please see below for the top 5 choices!
