Share Zone

Beginning on Thursday, November 3rd, we are starting an initiative aimed at providing more food for the students while reducing overall food waste. Working alongside the Foods Services Director, Emily Doering, and Anne Hanis, our Cafeteria Manager, we have put together a "Share Table" in the cafeteria. This is a place where students can leave unopened food that they are required to take for hot lunch, but do not want to eat. Items liked cheese sticks, sliced fruit, apples, milk, etc. will be left on the Share Table and then when snack time starts, any student can take an item from this table if they so choose.  We will assess how this is working as we go along!  Feedback is welcome!
