Watertown Public Schools is committed to fostering a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment that promotes the intellectual, social, emotional, and ethical development of all students. As part of this commitment, our district fully embraces the Connecticut School Climate Policy and the Restorative Practices Response Policy, as mandated by Conn. Gen. Stat. §10‑222aa et seq., effective July 1, 2025.
We recognize that a positive school climate is built upon the quality of relationships, shared values, and consistent practices that sustain academic and behavioral success throughout our school community. Families are essential partners in this work, and this Parent Handbook provides an overview of Connecticut’s updated school climate policy, your rights, and ways to support a positive school environment alongside our staff.
