Dear Watertown Public Schools Faculty, Families and Students,

WHS Turf and Track

It is with great delight to share another update on the John Mills Complex Turf and Track project. Beginning Tuesday, October 10, 2023, both the turf and track will begin to be utilized by teams in the Watertown Athletics Department. The very first team to play on the new turf will be the Varsity boys soccer team on Tuesday evening.

In addition, during the week of October 16, a series of activities will be held at WHS in celebration of the new field and turf with a culminating ribbon cutting ceremony to take place on Friday, October 20, 2023. More details will follow next week! Any members of the community interested in learning more about the project can click here to see pictures and information on the WHS Turf and Track Project.

The Watertown Public Schools have entered the FAFSA Challenge! The FAFSA Challenge aims to strengthen postsecondary access and enrollment by raising FAFSA completion rates among high school seniors. Completion of the FAFSA is one of the best predictors of whether or not seniors will enroll in college; students who complete the FAFSA are 84 percent more likely to immediately enroll in postsecondary education.
