I hope you are enjoying your summer. This week, you will receive an email from Watertown Public Schools inviting you to update your Returning Student Registration for the 19-20 School year in your PowerSchool Parent Portal. Please be reminded that you must use the Parent Portal sign in, not your student's login to the portal. Please click the following icon once you enter the Portal:
If your child is transitioning to third-, sixth- and/or ninth grade, the Parent Portal will prompt you to provide proof of residency documentation. In March, the Board of Education updated Policy 5033R–Eligibility to Attend Watertown Public Schools requiring rising parents of third-, sixth- and ninth-graders to submit. Proof of residency documentation (Mortgage, Rental agreement with Landlord’s signature and contact information, or Warranty deed) can be securely uploaded to the Parent Portal or sent directly to your child’s school. All other documentation including notarized signed affidavits of residency must be sent directly to your child’s school. Please note that proof of residency documentation must be submitted prior to the start of the 2019-2020 school year.
If you do not have access to your Portal or have not created an account, please email or call your local school to complete this quick 5-10 minute review of your important student data for the 19-20 school year.
You must use a computer to complete the Returning Student Registration for the upcoming 2019-2020 school year.
