Dear Watertown Faculty and Families, Friday, March 5, 2021
I hope this message finds you enjoying the start to the month of March. It’s hard to believe we are only a few weeks away from the official start of Spring. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
Happenings and Useful Information
It’s Read Across America week! Teachers, students, and ‘celebrity readers’ are reading aloud all across the district. Check out some of these great pics and links to some fantastic read alouds. You might even find one from the superintendent!
On Monday, March 8th, we are all looking forward to the final phase of having our Swift 8th graders return fully in person. If you haven’t completed your school’s survey on choosing your learning model, click the links and see the schedule below. WHS will continue their current rotation until March 19.

Health and Safety
We had our very first successful WPS Covid closed clinic on Tuesday this week. To continue our plan in providing vaccines for all WPS PreK-12 educators, we will be holding two new closed clinics at Watertown Town Hall on the following dates. Faculty should check their emails for an invite to the closed clinics.
Clinic 1: Saturday, March 13, 2021 from 8-5PM
Clinic 2: Saturday, March 20, 2021 from 8-5PM
The town of Watertown will also continue to provide vaccines to the general public based on age eligibility on the same dates.
BOE Recommended Budget Presentations
Parents and community members are invited to join the following upcoming budget presentations to learn about the FY22 Budget. See below for a schedule and links:
