Dear Watertown Public Schools Faculty, Students, and Families,

Watertown Wall of Honor

Each year, the Watertown Board of Education welcomes nominations for the Watertown Wall of Honor. The Wall of Honor recognizes exceptional individuals that have brought distinction to the Watertown community through their commitment to excellence. To be nominated to the Wall of Honor, a candidate must have graduated from Watertown High School at least ten years prior to the year of induction and consistently demonstrated the highest standards of excellence and honor in their chosen vocation. This year we have three inductees to the Wall of Honor:

  • Mr. Christopher Cipriano - Watertown High School Graduate, Class of 1994

  • Mr. Christopher Mckenna - Watertown High School Graduate, Class of 1995

  • Ms. Virginia Buckingham – Watertown High School Graduate, Class of 1983

A Solemn Morning Remembering Bristol Officers

Yesterday, two Bristol officers who were in last week’s tragic incident were remembered by many across the State of Connecticut. In memory of the families, colleagues, and community impacted by the passing of Officers DeMonte and Hamzy, I hope all will find peace in time.

Traffic Patterns at JTPS

I would like to thank all of our families, faculty, bus company First Student, and Watertown Police Department for working diligently this past week with the new traffic patterns at JTPS. As we work to continue safe and timely arrival/dismissal procedures at JTPS, your patience and cooperation is greatly appreciated.
