On Tuesday, February 22, 2021 Governor Lamont held a press conference with a Covid vaccine update. In that press conference, is was shared that all Pre-K-12 educators and childcare providers will be eligible to receive Covid-19 vaccinations as of March 1, 2021.
Additional information will be forthcoming as WPS prepare for the March 1 school-based and childcare vaccination roll-out. From now until then, school districts will be working with their local health providers to plan the roll out of vaccinations. I know you will have questions, but I thank you in advance for your patience as plans are finalized.
You will receive another email as soon as the protocol on 'how' to receive a vaccination becomes available to all school districts.
