Celebration of Diwali

Also known as the "Festival of Lights", Diwali is one of the largest celebrations of the year for our Hindu families. Diwali is observed over five days (this year beginning October 24) and includes festive events that include fireworks, parties, and the exchange of gifts with friends and family.  In observance of Diwali, clay oil lamps known as 'diyas' and candles are lit and placed around homes to recognize the significance of this special celebration.  To those  in our community who observe Diwali, we wish you a wonderful week of celebration!
