Congratulations to the Girls Swim and Dive Team who placed 3rd in the NVL championships.

Elena Welcome took 2nd place in the 500 freestyle and 3rd place in the 200 freestyle.

Allie Zombar placed 6th in the 200 IM and

Aubrey Perrelli was 5th in the 500 freestyle.

The 200 Medley Relay of Riley McDonnell, Allie Zombar, Izzy Hutchko, and Reagan Dubay placed 5th overall.

The 200 freestyle relay of Emma Omeri, Izzy Hutchko, Aubrey Perrelli, and Elena Welcome placed 4th.

While the 400 freestyle relay placed 3rd thanks to the efforts of Emma Omeri, Aubrey Perrelli, Allie Zombar, and Elena Welcome.

Congratulations to the Boys XC team! They went undefeated this season and also won All NVL at their meet last Wednesday.

Congrats to the Girls XC team, who also placed second at the meet.

Congratulations to Andrew Brown and Sarah Krayeske who were the WHS recipients of the CAS-CIAC Scholar Athlete Award! Student athletes were awarded at a banquet held Sunday, May 4th, at the Aqua Turf.

Congrats to Lola Vaina whose art work won first place for the Fifth Congressional District of Connecticut 2025 Congressional Art Competition!!! She won plane tickets to D.C. to see her art work at the U.S. Capitol Building.

The K-12 Art Show is today! Wednesday, April 2nd from 4:30-6pm at WHS!

Congratulations to Khrystalyn Lafo who broke the school record in the 55m hurdles during her indoor track season which just came to a close!

Congrats to senior Jeremy Charbonneau on setting a new school record in the Shot Put during Indoor Track and Field this winter season. Good luck in your upcoming Outdoor Track and Field this spring!

Congrats to Junior Julia Campbell for breaking her previously held school swim record in the 100 breaststroke swimming a 1:07:93.

Congratulations to Lilly Khouri and Ryann Walsh who All State and Academic All State honors for Cross Country!

This year, for Veterans Day, WHS Interact club helped raise money, and create a "Field of Flags" for the Disabled American Veterans (DAV). The flags were displayed the week leading up to Veterans Day. Interact officers also participated in the Veterans Day celebration on Monday, November 11th, at the town ceremony, honoring those who served.
